Your donations are sustaining Christian refugees – “Jordan Times” report

AMMAN — With more international donations coming to the Kingdom, churches are able to continue hosting Christian refugees who escaped the violence in Iraq, according to a religious leader.

Imad Maaya, president of the Evangelical Churches Council in Jordan, told The Jordan Times that the Barnabas Fund in the UK has donated $80,000 to support efforts to host Iraqi refugees in Jordan.

According to its website, the fund sends financial support to projects that help Christians where they suffer discrimination, oppression and persecution as a consequence of their faith.
