Sixteen thousand people in plains around Darjeeling, northern India, were abandoned to their fate, some literally starving to death, when tea plantations were closed. Amongst them were Nepalese Christians who had come to India to seek work. Barnabas Fund is supporting a Christian ministry which trains and encourages these Christians to make them strong in their faith and able to cope with the desperate situation they face. pray that they may put their hope in His unfailing love (Psalm 147:11).
